PAUL FLEETWOOD

Not only a skilled DJ but also an OG of many Pittsburgh platforms serving up quality electronic music.

Paul began DJ’ing in 2001, becoming a semi-professional in 2003 with his first handful of paying gigs, in addition to a guest spot on Pittsburgh public radio 91.3 WYEP’s show The Dubmission.

In 2005 he co-founded Humanaut, a professional events production and DJ crew. This provided for consistent events series, one-off parties, residencies, and good music throughout both the DIY and night club communities in Pittsburgh.

In 2010 Paul joined VIA’s core team of event producers. Armed with an iron will and coffee addiction, Paul assisted in curating and managing VIA events and our pop-up club 6119. 2010 also saw the creation of a weekly online radio show, Ultrawizardsword, founded by producer/DJ Relative Q. Paul served as a co-host and resident DJ, inviting and testing the world’s best and not so best DJ’s mettle one week at a time.

By 2012 things were cooking. Alongside a small team of fellow PIttsburgh event coordinators, Paul helped found Hot Mass: an independent weekly after hours event series. Igniting Pittsburgh’s late night dance scene, Hot Mass quickly became a haven for any dedicated music fan willing to trade sleep for sweat. In 2013 he answered an unknown call, and left Pittsburgh to explore the great beyond. He currently resides in Denver, CO, actively DJ’ing and contributing where he can to the dance music community at large.
